Nut butter fudge is the perfect treat to whip up when you and your kiddos are craving sweets. Filled with healthy ingredients and a great source of protein, this snack is sure to satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth without loading them up on too much processed sugar. This recipe, like all from FarmDish, was created by our talented executive chef, Michelle.
- 1 Cup Coconut Oil (Organic)
- 1 Cup Cacao Powder (Organic)
- 1 Cup Creamy Almond Butter (Organic)
- 1/2 Cup Raw Honey (Organic)
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract (Organic)
- 1 Cup Peanut Butter (Organic)
- 40 Pretzels
If you don’t have all of these ingredients around the house you can make some easy substitutions. Coconut oil for clarified butter, cacao powder for cocoa powder, raw honey for regular honey, and almond/peanut butter for any other nut butter. Just remember switching out these ingredients will begin to make this treat less healthy for you and your little ones.
Step 1: Line an 8×8″ baking dish with parchment paper.
Step 2: Pulse coconut oil, cacao powder, almond butter, raw honey, and vanilla extract in a food processor until smooth and well combined. Pour half of the mixture into baking dish and spread evenly. Cover and chill in fridge for 10 minutes
Step 3: Spread peanut butter over the top of chilled fudge mixture, then top with 20 pretzels and remaining fudge. Cover and chill again in fridge for another 10 minutes.
Step 4: Lay remaining 20 pretzels over the top of the fudge, pressing in slightly to make sure they stick. Refrigerate another 20 minutes before cutting.
